Pastor Victor J. Rushing Sr. was charged with the awesome mandate

to pastor the Progressive Church of God in Christ in January of 2001. He has since been given the opportunity lead in District and State level positions (President of Missions, Pastor & Elders Chairman). Married to his high school sweetheart the lovely and gracious Michelle Denise Rushing, and is the father of three beloved children and the grandfather of nine.

Only the most gracious of women could fill the role of a Pastor’s wife. Praise God for the beautiful Proverbs 31 woman that graces the side of Pastor Victor J. Rushing Sr. Evangelist Michelle Rushing is known at Progressive for her support of the ministry and that of her loving husband and children. She is a graduate of the University of Phoenix with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. 1stladi Michelle serves as the Women’s Department President she is guiding and encouraging women both young and seasoned to follow the example of Christ. Known for her warm smile, generous hugs she continues to work diligently in and around the Progressive ministry. 1stLadi Michelle walks in agreement with Pastor Rushing as they lead the people of Progressive.
